EmpowerHer Cohort 1: Clicks, Confidence & Career Moves

ree

They came. They clicked. They conquered.

A Promise Made, A Promise Kept

When Blooming Hearts Foundation opened registration for EmpowerHer Cohort 1 back in April, we gave our word: Work hard, stand out, and we’ll celebrate your excellence.

Fast forward to July, and we’ve delivered on that promise!

Our first-ever graduating class didn’t just complete a free digital skills training; they redefined what’s possible for women in Nigeria’s digital economy.

From mastering social media strategy to content creation, graphic design, digital products, and video editing, these women stepped up and proved that consistency, commitment, and courage always pay off.

Our Best Graduating Students (BGS)

  • Oche Goodness Amarachi – Best in Social Media Class

  • Josephine Abena Agyeiwaah Adu-Twum – Best in Digital Products

  • Iniobong Lucky Udotong – Best in Video Editing

  • Chidimma Precious Obi – Best in Writing

  • Edith Omohnor Nwoko – Best in Graphics Design

Our Amazing Runner-Ups

Ayomide Esther Temitope, Tata Britta, Ifeyinwa Ngozi Amaechi, Nkiruka Rosemary Onwueme, Nafisat Isaika, and several others who showcased remarkable dedication and creativity. These women were awarded cash prizes and offered internship opportunities because at Blooming Hearts, we don’t just train; we connect graduates to real-world opportunities.

What Makes EmpowerHer Different?

EmpowerHer isn’t just another training program. It’s a movement to close Nigeria’s digital divide; one woman at a time.

For six weeks, participants received hands-on training in:

  • Social Media Management

  • Content Writing & Storytelling

  • Video Editing

  • Graphic Design

  • Digital Product Creation

They didn’t just learn skills; they built confidence, created portfolios, and opened doors to freelance jobs and small business roles.

Their success proves that when women are empowered, entire communities flourish.

What’s Next for EmpowerHer?

This is just the beginning.

With Cohort 1 setting the standard high, Cohort 2 is already loading, and it promises to be even bigger and better!

Our goal is simple: equip more women in Nigeria with the skills and confidence to thrive in today’s digital economy.

A Heartfelt Congratulations to Our Digital Trailblazers
